We started off our Egyptian topic with Clive Pig, a renowned story teller, who came and did a day's workshop with the children. Each group re-enacted a part of Egyptian life- we certainly learned a lot and have enjoyed watching it back since! The children have used this wealth of knowledge in their writing by becoming Egyptologists themselves! Year 3 have also made their own canopic jars for storing the organs and Year 4 have modelled their own death masks to be placed over the mummy's face.
