Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day is organised by the UK Safer Internet Centre every year to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. This year's Safer Internet Day theme was, 'Together for a Better Internet' with a focus on how consent works in an online context.

Each class took part in discussions and activities which encouraged the children to explore how they ask, give, and receive consent online including how they take and share images and videos, or how they manage their privacy and data. Safer Internet Day is also a good opportunity to start a conversation with your children about online safety. We encourage all parents and carers to be aware of their children's safety when using online and mobile technologies.
