LSA Vacancy- Year 5 Class
We are looking for a creative, flexible and pro-active learning support assistant to work in a Year 5 class from the second half of the Autumn term. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of how to support learning with experience in Key Stage Two.
You should be willing to work flexibly through the school, be able to support children of all abilities, as well as having a good knowledge of the standards expected at Key Stage 2. Key skills for this role would include strong communication, organisational skills and ability to work without direction. A knowledge of SEND needs and experience of working with SEND pupils would also be an advantage.
Candidates should hold C (level 4) or above at GCSE in Maths and English and a post 16 qualification in an educational field.
This post is fixed term to support the special educational needs of pupils and is subject to the external funding.
