This half term in Reception, the children have been diving into the fascinating world of Australian landmarks and wildlife! As part of our topic, we explored the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, learning all about the vibrant marine animals and their unique underwater habitats. From colourful fish to graceful sea turtles and swaying coral, the children were captivated by the beauty beneath the ocean’s surface. We recreated the beautiful coral and by using the skills we have learnt throughout the year which include cutting, attaching, sticking, and by drawing our favourite sea creatures by observing different shapes that we could see.
